Secure Covers Silage Clamp Covers

Description
Secure Covers make sheeting up silage clamps quick, clean and easy and are used by farmers worldwide. Made from a patent-protected, tough interlocked knitted HDPE, Secure Covers are held in place using Secure Gravel Bags. The finely knitted mesh helps prevent bird damage to the silage sheet and stops birds from feeding on the silage face when pulled down.
Made from a flexible, non-fray knit, Secure Covers keep your silage film in close contact with the silage surface. This contact will create an airtight seal, which will rid your clamp of surface waste and help to reduce dry matter losses within your clamp.
Secure Covers unique construction, using our patent- protected square thread technology, reduces ‘wind lift’, ensuring your silage sheets remain in place on your clamp. A reduction in wind lift will improve quality by maintaining an airtight seal between the silage sheet and the silage surface.

Secure Covers can also be used for sheeting round silage bales in order to protect them from bird and wildlife damage. The spoilage caused by opportunistic mould growth increases the likelihood of pathogens and mycotoxins within the feed. Protecting silage wrap from bird and wildlife damage is vital when you consider that typically more than half of the silage in a bale is within 20cm of the surface. Thin lightweight netting with a large open weave is of little use. Secure Covers™ are much tougher and last longer, which is why farmers love using them.
Secure Covers specially designed mesh prevents wind lifting the sheets keeping them in place on your stack. Covers can be secured in place with the Stack Pack clips available to buy from Agritel.

Standard Delivery is 2-3 working days from the working day the order is received (orders received before 11:30 am), Free shipping on orders over £300. …Orders over £300 (excluding VAT) will be shipped carriage-paid, except to Northern Ireland and offshore locations (see ‘Geographical Coverage’, below).
For orders below £300 the delivery charge is based on the weight and size of items and is calculated on checkout.
Delivery Methods
a) Parcels- Our standard delivery is by courier on a next working-day service; delivery can be any time between 8:30am and 5.00pm.
- Please advise us of any issues (eg. limited opening hours, difficult access) that may affect deliveries to your site.
- We aim to dispatch orders within one working day of receipt. Orders received by 1.00pm on a working day are usually dispatched the same day unless they need to be palletised (see ‘Pallets’ below).
- Some small, light orders are sent via Royal Mail.
- Large or heavy orders may be palletised; we will notify you upon receipt of order if this is the case. Pallets are dispatched on a 2 – 3 working-day service; delivery can be any time between 9.00am and 5.00pm and a signature will be required. Next-day or timed deliveries are available upon request; please call 01691 671496, or send us an email for a price.
- Customers can opt to collect their order from our premises in person or via a third-party courier: select ‘Collect from Agritel’ at the Delivery Method stage of checkout. Our opening hours for collections are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm, excluding Bank Holidays. See Contact Us for our address and location.
Geographical Coverage
The delivery service and carriage charges detailed above apply throughout the UK mainland, but please note that deliveries to northern Scotland (defined by postcodes AB30+, FK17+, HS, IV, KA27+, KW, PA20+) may take up to 3 working days to arrive.
