Breathable, weather-resistant covers for the outdoor storage of beet crops, including sugar beet and red beetroot.
Our Beet Covers provide a practical covering solution for harvested beet crops stored outdoors in heaps or windrows. Manufactured from a strong, breathable material, these covers are designed to help protect stored crops from direct exposure to rain, snow and adverse weather conditions whilst allowing moisture vapour to escape.
Beet Covers can be used as part of an outdoor crop storage system and have been supplied by Agritel to growers storing red beetroot in windrows, including applications where the covers are used in conjunction with straw.

Important Storage & Application Information
The effectiveness of any outdoor crop storage system depends on several factors, including crop condition, weather conditions, storage duration, site preparation and the method of installation.
Beet Covers are designed to provide a breathable, weather-resistant covering layer. They do not guarantee frost-free storage or prevent crop deterioration in all conditions.
Growers should assess the suitability of the product for their intended application and ensure that appropriate crop storage, ventilation, insulation and monitoring practices are followed. Additional protection may be required during periods of severe or prolonged frost.
