The UNIC UAC30 is a heavy-duty pneumatic aerosol crusher developed for businesses that need to dispose of full, damaged or rejected aerosol cans safely and efficiently. Unlike standard aerosol crushers designed for empty cans, the UAC30 incorporates fan-assisted extraction and a liquid drainage system to safely manage the contents released during crushing.

Safe Vapour Management

The UAC30 uses an ATEX-rated extraction fan to remove vapours from the crushing chamber while liquid contents drain into a suitable waste container.

The standard installation requires 5″ extraction ducting vented to atmosphere.

Optional Activated Carbon Filter

For additional vapour control, the optional UAD-200 Activated Carbon Filter Drum captures aerosol propellant gases released during crushing.

Even with the carbon filter fitted, the machine should still be vented to atmosphere as recommended by the manufacturer. This provides an additional level of protection should the carbon media become exhausted before replacement.
