Leicester was the host of Agritel Director Brenda Duffus’ final race for the Mercy Ships fundraiser last Sunday. She completed the 10k course in a time of 1hr 0mins and 38 seconds. Former professional rugby player and amateur race starter Rory Underwood gave sporting encouragement as 1,404 runners took to the streets.
Brenda raised another impressive sum in sponsorship with £425 being added to the Linda Butler Mercy Ships Volunteer Bursary.
Everyone at Agritel is immensely proud of her efforts for a worthy cause. She can now relax and is off on a well deserved holiday!
