Delivery and Returns

Delivery Methods

a) Parcels

Our standard delivery is by courier on a next working-day service; delivery can be any time between 8:30am and 5.30pm. For domestic addresses, delivery can be between 8.30am and 8pm. Our courier prefers to obtain a signature upon delivery but if this is not possible and you would like your goods to be left in a safe place (eg. porch or shed) please notify us using the ‘Order Comment’ box at the time of ordering and we will do our best to comply.

Please advise us of any issues (eg. limited opening hours, difficult access) that may affect deliveries to your site.

We aim to dispatch orders within one working day of receipt. Orders received by 1.00pm on a working day are usually dispatched the same day unless they need to be palletised (see ‘Pallets’ below).

Some small, light orders are sent via Royal Mail; these are clearly identified in the product description.

Please ensure the correct address is used on checkout, any changes to delivery addresses on the day of delivery will incur a redelivery charge.

b) Pallets

Large or heavy orders may be palletised; we will notify you upon receipt of order if this is the case. Pallets are dispatched on a 2 – 3 working-day service; delivery can be any time between 9.00am and 5.00pm and a signature will be required. Next-day or timed deliveries are available upon request; please call 01691 671496, or send us an email for a price.

A forklift truck is usually necessary for offloading palletised goods; please tell us if you do not have a forklift and we’ll do our best to arrange a tail-lift offload. Please advise us of any issues (eg. limited opening hours, difficult access) that may affect deliveries to your site.

We aim to dispatch palletised goods within one working day of receipt of order; orders received by 10.00am on a working day are usually dispatched same day.

Please ensure the correct address is used on checkout, any changes to delivery addresses on the day of delivery will incur a redelivery charge.

c) Collection

Customers can opt to collect their order from our premises in person or via a third-party courier: select ‘Collect from Agritel’ at the Delivery Method stage of checkout. Our opening hours for collections are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm, excluding Bank Holidays. See Contact Us for our address and location.

d) Special Instructions

Any special instructions (eg. leave-safe location, opening hours etc) can be entered in the ‘Order Comment’ box at the Delivery Method stage of checkout; we will always do our best to comply.

Carriage Charges

Orders over £300 (excluding VAT) will be shipped carriage-paid, except to Northern Ireland and offshore locations (see ‘Geographical Coverage’, below). Orders under £300 (excluding VAT) will attract a carriage charge based on the total weight of your order and the delivery location. The carriage charge is calculated at checkout and is subject to VAT.

Geographical Coverage

The delivery service and carriage charges detailed above apply throughout the UK mainland, but please note that deliveries to northern Scotland do not qualify for free delivery (defined by postcodes AB, FK19+, IV, KW, PA20+, PH15+) and may take up to 3 working days to arrive.

For delivery to Northern Ireland and all offshore destinations (including the Isle of Wight) we cannot offer free delivery over £300.00, please call 01691 671496 or send us an email for a price.

Exceptions

We restrict the quantity of standard bubble wrap and foam rolls that can be supplied in a single consignment to a total of four, including mixed orders (eg. more than one type of bubble wrap and/or foam). If you require larger quantities of bubble wrap, please call 01691 671496 or send us an email for a delivery price.

Returns

Problem with the Goods?

Any goods that are damaged, defective or supplied incorrectly (ie. not as per order) will be replaced or taken back and refunded at Agritel’s expense. In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your order, please contact us immediately by email or call our sales team on 01691 671496.

7-day Cooling-off Period

By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please send us an email or call 01691 671496.

Not the Right Product for You?

If you are dissatisfied with a product for any other reason, we’re happy to take it back. Provided that the goods are in saleable condition, we will refund your money or offer an alternative product if appropriate; we ask only that you cover the cost of shipment back to us. Please send us an email or call 01691 671496 within 7 days of receiving your order. Please note that the refund is made upon receipt of the goods at our premises and is subject to checking for damage and completeness.
